Look of the Week: May 10, 2010

May 10, 2010

Little Miss Jayla knows how to rock an outfit.  The only daughter of a fashionista mama, this girl’s spent a good portion of her 18 months on earth combing the racks of the Goose, amassing a wardrobe that turns every toddler in Tompkins County green with envy.  Between a closet full of awesomeness and a face full of gorgeous, Jayla’s star is totally on the rise, and we’re lucky to have booked her for our weekly Goose gig.

Jayla’s ensemble features a George top ($2.95) and an Old Navy denim skirt ($3.50), both in size 2.   The look is tied together with a brand-new pair of Converse All-Stars in size 5 ($8.95) and a pair of the model’s own bobby socks, for a bit of retro flair.  Feeling awfully academic in her sneakers and sweater vest, Jayla contemplated her future as a drum majorette, and got in some practice on a steel drum.  ($9.99)

You never know… this Alpha Girl could be the force of a movement that turns band geek into chic.  I know I’d march to the beat of Jayla’s drum.  The girl’s got style.

Remember, we’re always on the look out for new talent.  If you know someone who would like to model the Look of the Week, e-mail me at meryl@mamagooseithaca.com.
